About The Company

O Yeah! America Kitchens and Bar is a bold new venture conceptualized by Certified Chef, and restaurateur, Deepak Ballaney. We wish to combine the best elements of hugely successful concepts such as Ghost Kitchens, Sports Bars, and Food Courts, in New York.

With the idea of delivering the best experience to our customers, we had leased a prime location in New York, in early 2020. Unfortunately, our plans were thwarted unexpectedly, due to the global pandemic. We now urge your assistance in raising funds to kick start this exciting concept and so that we can share it with the good people of New York.

Our Scope

With O, Yeah! Deepak Ballaney aims to create a global brand that eventually opens the door to its branches and franchises worldwide, creating a massive brand that helps launch more entrepreneurs. Being an alumnus of the "Culinary Institute of America", Deepak Ballaney wishes to capitalize his expertise in developing the best business model for O, Yeah! America Kitchens and Bar.

What Sets Us Apart

Unlike most new restaurants and food ventures, what sets us apart is our concept and leadership. O, Yeah! America Kitchens and Bar is spearheaded by food business veteran and genius, Deepak Ballaney. He was previously the owner of wildly successful culinary ventures like Fishwiches, which he began within his gourmet chicken wings specialty joint, International Wings Factory in 2015. Following these, he had also launched Speakeasy Burgers in 2018, which was extremely well-received and had achieved some of the best reviews on platforms like Yelp.

These were ghost kitchens specializing in exclusive cuisines, a concept that was extremely rare when he first began. He could easily be considered as one of the pioneers of ghost kitchens in New York. His investors and he profited greatly from these two ventures as Chef Deepak noticed its tremendous scope in the market and leveraged it. He observed the great need in the market for such joints, and so he put the extra space and un utilized labor to use. This subsequently helped greatly in boosting his business’s bottom line.

With O, Yeah! he aims to launch his third great project, using the exceptional insights he has gained through his earlier business concepts. He knows his target audience and has found a concept that is wonderfully unique, and extremely commercially viable, and profitable. The cuisines he designs are bound to attract Tourists and Local food enthusiasts in great numbers.

MEET THE DREAMER

Deepak Ballaney (CEO)

Deepak Ballaney is a seasoned hospitality veteran and current Owner of today’s renowned restaurant International Wings Factory, or IWF. He is an alumnus of the acclaimed Culinary Institute of America, proposed alumni of Columbia University, and attainted his MBA from Columbia University and Cornell University. Currently, IWF has achieved numerous milestones approaching its 7th year in business. His restaurant has been featured on NBC, Fox News, Tony on NY, What’s Eating Harlem, The New York Times, Daily News, CBC, First We Feast, and Thrillist. Deepak has also been invited to speak at the Global Business Icons.

Having been in the food and restaurant industry for over 26 years, he has vast experience and a deep skillset that has allowed him to find immense success within the field. Some of his initial background began as an executive committee member where he pioneered strategic procedures to achieve high employee and guest satisfaction rates. He gained further expertise in developing niche market solutions and providing unparalleled insight and skills as an individual chef consultant. Here, he was able to strengthen the core foundation of businesses via strategic partnerships and collaborative efforts. As a current entrepreneur having launched IWF, his plans are to expand his business worldwide to grow a brand that will support fellow entrepreneurs. In 2016, Deepak became one of the first chefs to start Fishwiches, a virtual restaurant concept, and later launched another idea, Speakeasy Burgers. With his vast background, he successfully specializes in brand development, cost consulting, standard operating manuals, marketing, management, and labor control.

Although he originally cultivated a successful skillset within the technology industry at IBM which made his family proud, he decided to leave the tech field and venture where his passion truly lied – hospitality. At home is where his love for wings sparked, as it was here that he was exposed to a world of international flavors and service elegance, learning from the best in the industry. Originally working as a management trainee at the Taj Hotels in India, he served endless highly profiled individuals, such as Bill Clinton, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Jacques Chirac, Tatas, Ambanis, Bill Gates, and Cindy Crawford. He quickly developed a unique skillset, working on distressed restaurant outlets with the goal of reviving their reputation in order to become more profitable. He worked tirelessly to achieve success and eventually took the opportunity to move to America in 2003, 9 years after his original mark in the restaurant industry. In 2008, he enrolled in a famous culinary institution where he built a strong foundation in technical areas and the history of the culinary world. After graduating, he continued serving troubled restaurants that needed help with financial stability.

Focused on the declining quality of wings that were available in New York City, he set up a small shop on the Upper East Side of New York in 2012. He accomplished this with integral support from his wife and young daughter, with the primary goal of producing the best wings for the amazing people of NYC.

Deepak’s journey originated in his home country of India, where he was exposed early to chicken wings as the other sections of meat were left to the head of the family. Today, Deepak and his staff work around the clock to achieve maximum satisfaction from all their customers and follows the belief that “Guest is God”. His life is centered around serving the highest quality wings with the most perfect sauces to ensure he garners happy clients, which ensured his sustainability throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, quite a feat in the NYC area. This combination of top-notch service as well as his resilience and perseverance has allowed him to structure a truly respected restaurant that customers will continue to visit for years to come.
